GW Partners Mission Statement
Scroll

GW Partners is a unique firm that combines the best elements of operational consulting, financial management, strategic planning and M&A Advisory services to partner with consumer brands to transform them into far more valuable and coveted strategic acquisition targets.

What We Do

We Help Owners Transform Their Companies, Increase Value and Maximize an Exit

GW Partners engages and partners with consumer products brands that desire to create, implement and execute an operational plan to materially increase the value and overall attractiveness of the company as a strategic acquisition target.

Our partner clients leverage the powerful combination of our extensive experience with: (1) Operational execution across all functional areas
of their businesses and (2) Mergers and Acquisitions dealmaking and
business sale process management.

We work side by side with the Founders and Chief Executives that we serve to create and execute a comprehensive growth and transformation plan for the company.  No matter what the desired timeline for a strategic transaction – 6 months, 2 years, 5 years, unknown – the end result of the process is the same: our partner client company is a far more valuable and coveted strategic acquisition target.

Why Us?

GW Partners transforms companies into high-value strategic assets

Until GW Partners, when Founders and Chief Executives of consumer products companies wanted to create and execute an action plan that would result in a high-value strategic acquisition, there were no good options for top quality, comprehensive assistance.  With no firm able to put the entire picture together properly – planning, operational execution and M&A transaction management – they were left with trying to piece together narrowly-focused service providers or consultants and attempt to create a cohesive approach with these people who were not partners and had very little understanding of what the others did.

GW Partners changes all of that.  Not only do we have the expertise to understand and dissect all the functions of a business, we know how their construction and condition translate into a potential strategic transaction.  We “have the answers to the test” and bring that knowledge to bear on the partner client’s business to create a tangible, actionable plan to materially increase the strategic value of the company.  Lastly, but most importantly, we become part of our partner clients’ team and assist with execution of the plan we have all arrived at together.  This is, along with our aligned interest in the success of the company, is what makes us true PARTNERS and not simply advisors or service providers.

Our Process

step one

Analysis & Assessment

We begin our process by first collecting data pertaining to all of the core functions of your company – supply chain, finance & business analytics, sales, marketing, product development, etc. Through a detailed analysis of that data, we assess the health of the company and determine areas where there are large opportunities for strategic improvement increases in valuation.

We deliver a comprehensive health assessment and detailed suggested action plan that will transform your company into a highly-valuable and coveted acquisition target. We then collaborate with you and your senior team members to develop the final strategic action plan.

step Two

Execution & Strategy Implementation

Once the strategic plan has been finalized, we roll up our sleeves and work alongside you and your team to drive towards the goals that have been established for the company. GW Partners will not only become part of your team, we will also bring to bear a top of class strategic resources as force multipliers so we can achieve your goals as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Through this entire phase we are making sure the company is guided by the “North Star” strategic principles that will make the business a more attractive acquisition target.

step Three

Refine & Maintain

During this phase, we will continue to work with you as a strategic advisor, where we review all the functions of the business and workshop any issues in a more limited basis. This is a period where we are monitoring and refining strategies that were implanted during the execution phase.

Examples of the type of Scope Tasks:

  • Review the monthly reports produced and given to the company through outside agencies.
  • Analyzing performance by channel
  • Updates on product launches and timeline
  • Begin preparation of marketing materials and internal financial models that will be used in the next phase: M&A Sale Process.
step Four

Strategic M&A Sale Process

All of the work completed and progress achieved through the initial phases of our process lead up to the ultimate goal of selling the company to an acquirer that is the best strategic fit.  This results in the smoothest, most efficient sale transaction process with acquirers that value the business above all others.

As leading M&A advisory firm that combines extensive M&A sale transaction experience, unparalleled understanding of the ecommerce consumer products market, and deep knowledge of what makes companies great strategic assets, GW Partners is able to design a customized marketing processes that delivers superior results for our partner clients.
